Why does it have to matter if there is or isn't Global Warming. If Global Warming doesn't exist, do we continue to treat out planet like a toilet? Global Warming scares people to act... but we should be acting already. We are killing this planet very quickly. Other species are disappearing and we're occupied with saving our own asses? We should help save the planet NOW. It is common sense. -

Mr Rudd was caught out parroting the misinformation that the last 12 years are the hottest on record and when challenged about it he had a very lame comeback. There is more to the global warming debate and the IPCC than meets the eye. The IPCC is a political organisation with a hidden agenda. Channel Nine should source and screen the documentary "Global Warming Or Global Governance". Anyone interested in more info on this documentary, simply needs to Google. -

Finally 60 minutes has a semi-balanced view on climate change. Rudd was caught out lying to the Australian people. The interview lady did well to pick him up on 1 of the many lies he told during that interview. -

Kaz, this video does not write off all the research 'to support global warming' and does not 'smack of political interference. The current political environment is one in which government spending funds campaigns that have been termed 'soft propaganda', says nothing but 'think climate, think change' and presents the view of 'scientists and economists' as if they are in unison. Thankyou 60 Minutes for reporting the view of a significant, but often drowned out, number of scientist's. Now that the issue of Global Warming and Climate change have become such a mainstream issue, it your responsibilty to educate the nation so as the public can make an informed decision. -

So who owns channel nine? The use of sixty minutes to discredit Mr Rudd because the owner of channel nine is not a labor party supporter??? (the scientist you interviewed once worked for the govt - which govt???) This piece really smacked of political interference - very dangerous as you are writing off all the research done about carbon emissions causing global warming - HOW irresponsible 60 minutes and your puppeteer! -
