And just one more thing to the person who says they would have done the same for their daughter, i agree with the others, u should be in jail too that is so sad and low that u would do the same. It is a pathetic excuse to kill someone for breaking up with your daughter, maybe if they were beating her yeah, but that's not what happened. I hope for ur sake u don't have any daughters and if u do i hope for their sake they don't ever involve u in there relationships. -

1st of all i would like to say i am so sorry for what happened. U boys would prob not remember me and i don't know if u will even read this but i knew u wen u were babies i have a pic of me holding u both with your mum. I could not believe it wen i heard what happened. This is so sad that these things happen for reasons so pathetic. Ur dad was a great man and although i was only young i still remember how wonderful of a man he was and still is even up there. He is watching down on u boys and would be so proud that u had the courage to speak out about everything. Head up boys and i wish u all the best for a happier future, one day i hope i get to meet up with u again. Take care xoxox -

you people are so ignorant!!! its so easy to believe what you seen on tv that i think some ppl forget that they're are two sides to the story. A sad tragedy has occured but chinese whispers will only bring out so much of what really happened. -

to the last poster, an innocent mother sent to jail. are you kidding. i dont care how protective a mother you are you dont kill someones dad because their son broke up with your daughter because she couldnt keep her legs closed. their is no other side only that i hope said girl never sleeps a peaceful night again and that all others involved get what karma is coming. -

Our society is turning into the wild west. Seeing what happened to this family, my heart goes out to them. I am not a vengeful person by nature, but this family deserves justice and 15 years without parole is not justice. Most the aspect to this incident are becoming all to coming and bullies should be punished with swift, immediate and irrevcable retribution..To take a life over something so petty, reflects the value that they place on others lives and should be punished accordinly -

When I heard the beginning of the story Hostage Nightmare I thought the family may have been in a 3rd world country. I didn't think this would happen in Australia. The 2 boys will live this tragedy all their life but I was appaled that the murders and the woman ring leader can be paroled in 15 years. What has happened to our system these people should never be released. -
