A sensationalist story stacked with lies, lies and more lies, is that women wanting compensation for her BILLS. Perhaps your reporter should have done some research before running with it. The cars have only been parked in that spot for approx 1 week , how did they get there, (by the car fairy!). Male was spotted a few days ago removing items from back of van (and the back door does not open). Over past year van has been spotted backing out of driveway, and driving off. SHE may not have been driving (perhaps that car fairy was ) looked like a species of the male variety. So the courier run to Melbourne and back to Geelong was not successful. Why should I who uses this road daily and PAY my account be responsible for this persons unpaid bills, what is that saying "do the crime, do the time" so suck it up and pay your bills, stop expecting someone else to do it for you. Time behind bars - hope it happens. No sympathy from this listener. -

what a joke just goes to prove how many innocent people are victims and it's so hard to fight someone as big as this. I'm sure that this issue will be resolved but only because the woman went public and to ACA. Someone needs to be held accountable and a very big apology to this poor woman. -

I am also inclined to wonder why the number plates had not been returned; and why - if the vehhicle wouldn't go - it was parked at the end of the driveway, with another car in front of it. Additionally, the reporter should do some research into the mechanics of driving because - as far as I'm aware - side doors and back doors that do not work are not actually indicative of the effectiveness of the motor. -

The video accompanies a statement that 'we visit a Queensland woman who has received 278 Citylink toll fines...'! Well, that's odd, considering that the said woman works in Geelong. (It's one hell of a drive!) It's also odd that the woman claims that her car has been unregistered for 18 months, yet her registration display sticker states that the end date was 15th of November, 2008. Furthermore, it's strange that it was registered in the first place, considering that the vehicle has been off the road for two years. -

Great story, I HOPE you are going to follow this up and DO something about it. Tracey didn't indicate that you would be helping this poor girl in any way. I really hope you get your team onto this and resolve the issue, please don't sweep it under the carpet and let it become just ANOTHER story that ACA never follows up and resolves. You do great work at resolving most injustices, it would be sad to see if this one does not make your grade. -
