wow, I did not know they were still using dynamometers, cause mileage in everyday routine sure does not take into consideration drag, stop and gos are not always constant, and so on. I was lucky to get an average of 31 MPG on the 2000 Chevy Malibu, which is 1 MPG higher than the old EPA highway estimate. When I got 31 MPG, it was about 12AM-2AM on I-85 with almost no cars and used cruise control. My everyday driving, mostly city is close or slightly better to the new EPA average fuel economy for that car. -
