Thank you Larry for speaking out for us that are making the montly payments but having a really hard time right now. I called my mortgage company today Wachovia to see if there was any loan modification programs that I might qualify for and they told me no because I have a fix rate. Per the Fannie Mae guidelines you can't modify a Fix loan only refinance. My % is high 7.15. Same thing with my credit cards they won't lower my rate because I'm not behind. Maybe it will change and people will see that there are some of us that just need a little help so we don't go under. Renee S. -
