as i said previously, if the goverment wants to underwrite or subsidize and guarantee a persons home, then fine. But that person should have to agree to sell the home within 4-5 years and must repay the subsidized amount, with interest. That will stabalize, get them out of their situation, and the taxpayer will recoup their investment. Anything short of this should be a resounding NO. -
