What is appalling to me is the ineptitude of the DCA Director Mr Vuttichai interviewed by the reporter: the reporter tells him her findings about the pilots’ roasters which do not match with those given to him. What Mr Vuttichai got from 1-2 GO was a piece of paper with a transcript of all the hours done by each pilot and not the official ones which the reporter got instead. As the TAT says and is so proud to deliver, this is “Amazing Thailand”. You need to push for a thorough investigation by UN or USA authorities. Forget the Thai Prime Minister. Thai authorities are not capable and reliable. I’ve been living in Thailand long enough to tell you how much bury-under-the-sand attitude Thai investigators adopt for a good bunch of hundreds of bucks shoved into their pockets. Money is the key factor which starts any engine here and corruption is a way of living for many Thai authorities. -

It's been over 5 months since the crash, and based on the information we can gather from the thaivisa.com forum, from your program, and from the Thai Aviation Authority saying "No punishment will be imposed... because the accident was beyond control.", it is clear that no meaningful investigation is occurring. I lost a beloved family member; I want a proper investigation. If there were criminal acts, I want the guilty punished. I travel internationally; I want the airlines I fly to be safe. I want the people managing any airline I fly to be held accountable for their actions, because accountability improves safety.
