great finish but tht goalkeeper was crap to be honest he could have easily have saved this with his eyes shut if he tried -

Regardless of whether he was expecting it or not, the keeper was in the wrong position, if he was stood where he should of been (ie covering his post) the goal wouldn't have got passed him and would have just looked like some good skill...I agree that keeper error makes goal look better, but definatly not best goal ever! -

NO NO NO!!! It doesnt matter what he meant the FACT is that the Goalkeeper should ALWAYS cover his near post in this situation. A schoolboy error by the goalkeeper at a top level game making it look greater than it actually is. Great technique by the goalscorer but just poor poor goalkeeping. Best goal ever = Roberto Carlos freekick by a mile! James (Liverpool) -
