But, no ... instead the American public gets repaid with paying double the amount for oil. Folks ... this is an "Economic WAR" against our country. We need to wake up and take the blinders off. Being politically correct is going to end up with our nation bankrupt and our children with no future. Our leadership needs to set aside world sentiment and do what is best for our nation. 1. Get repayment from Iraq in the form of discounted oil 2. Increase the number of refineries 3. Increase oil production domestically 4. Create legislation mandating the development and use of alternative fuels by 2015 5. Create legislation to force automakers to produce vehicles to get at least 40 mpg by 2013. 6. Keep filling the strategic reserves ... If we have a crisis what oil will the military use to protect our nation? This isn't rocket science folks! -

What ever happened to the spoils of war? The cost of freeing Iraq has cost the American public over two Trillion dollars. Why can we not get repaid in an oil agreement with Iraq. They have one of the largest oil reserves in the world: "Iraq's Oil Reserves: Untapped Potential While its proven oil reserves of 112 billion barrels ranks Iraq second in the work behind Saudi Arabia, EIA estimates that up to 90-percent of the county remains unexplored due to years of wars and sanctions. Unexplored regions of Iraq could yield an additional 100 billion barrels. Iraq's oil production costs are among the lowest in the world. However, only about 2,000 wells have been drilled in Iraq, compared to about 1 million wells in Texas alone." -

Great... This is what we need, one more "analyst" telling us that gas is going to $4.00 per gallon. Big oil loves this; all of these analysts and experts lubing us up for the big screwing. And all the oil companies have to do is keep raising the price per gallon because we're already primed and ready for it. They answer a couple questions on Capitol Hill and even that goes smoothly, because all the "analysts" have said higher prices are coming. Then it's off to their palatial mansion retreat in south FL. -
